I realized I was kind of a racist in a lot of ways, although I want to correct that. Now-a-days it's mostly because I find the attitudes of the people who share my "race" to be so appalling. I have definitely be been expected to "act my race" and have been very bothered by that. I always try to think about it like, okay were all like 99.9% the same when it comes to DNA, it's just our proximity that makes us want to look for differences or even be able to perceive differences.
